![]() What I am trying to do is display each products PARENT category name on the PRODUCTS.TPL and PRODUCT.TPL but I am not having too much luck. I have tried:
{$current_category.category} - Displays the subcategory the product resides in. {$current_category.parentid} - This displays the correct category ID for the PARENT category Does anyone have any suggestions? |

![]() I just tried {$location[1].0} and this displays the PARENT category name properly on both PRODUCTS.TPL and PRODUCT.TPL however it does not work with search results.
When you run a search it will display the value as SEARCH RESULTS rather than the PARENT category name. Any help would be appreciated.

![]() Well it can't show the parent category on the search results page because there isn't one.

![]() Can the PARENT category not be determined somehow for each product and displayed in the search results along with PRODUCTS.TPL and PRODUCT.TPL? This seems like such a trivial thing to accomplish but I am absolutely baffled.
