Im trying to add banner code to category discription it seems a logical way to add banners etc, but is there a work around as it doesn't like it?

Try getting rid of the comment tag and wrapping the script in {literal} tags.

For other users reading this. It was not posible to do above without editing some of the php files, obviously as tech support cost points to paying customers I cannot post what is needed.
I am posting just to let users know it is possible & works ok. (When editing correct php files).
