buy now button sends to cart with product details configured
I am working on a new install and my customer has been editing the product pages. Suddenly with the appearance option set to send the the customer to the product detail page, 3 products are going directly to cart! These 3 have a quantity selection combo and all other do not.
What could they have done to cause this? I have scoured the admin pages and cannot locate any other settings that control this for individual products and I and assuming they have changed something that caused this. HELP!

this is not a bug,
the products without qty box must have options that need choosing before you can add to cart
