I can't find the CSS to turn the black font that appears in the DialogBox that says stuff like ....There are no available featured products... 0 results found...... and stuff like that I'm new to this and tried to find a post on this but could not please help

That is probably controlled by the main body style, at the top of your .css file. You could also add formatting to .dialogbox to control that as well.

I already changed the top css file?? how would I add my own fomatting??

Get yourself a good CSS book...the O'Reilly ones are particularly good. Will save you countless hours trying to edit your store.
