Hi,

I need to insert a name of the manufacturer. I've tried:

{$manufacturers_menu.manufacturer}

but it doesn't seem to work. So I tested it like:

{$manufacturers_menu[1].manufacturer}

and got a name of one of the manufacturers. How can I get the right name without hard-coding an array value?

The code may vary dependiing on the place where you want to put.

I'd like to access manufacturer's name name from skin1/dialog_product.tpl

dialog_product.tpl is my modified version of dialog.tpl and appears only on product pages.

then switch on the debug console

Where do I do that?

OK, After some search on these forums i was able to get manufacturer's name. I'm off not to looking for how to get product type...
