How to remove personal info text fields from checkout?

Default How to remove personal info text fields from checkout?
On the first page after clicking checkout, there are text fields below the products in your cart. The section marked "Personal information" are just duplicates of other fields below. I was hoping it is possible to remove / hide these fields so that the customer doesn't have to enter it twice.

Can somebody please give me instructions on how I could go about doing this?

Check the custom mods forum, there are quite a few mods that do this.
