![]() I'm developing an X-Cart website for a CD shop, and I would like to have a menu like this:
"Browse CD's by Artist Name" --------------------------- A-B-C-D-E-F-G-H-I-J-K , and so on When you click on a letter you get a list of artists under that letter, and when click on the artist the list of CDs by this artist. How can this be made? Anyone willing to help me? Thank you very much in advance, Martin

![]() Just create a bunch of categories....A, B, C, D, etc. Then create all of the artist's under each of those as sub-categories.
To hide the categories from the categories menu, use this mod and make the categories hidden: http://forum.x-cart.com/viewtopic.php?t=11326

![]() Martin,
Unless you wanted to custom code something, the easiest way is to create Categories/Subcategories for each letter ie: A B C etc. then group artist products whose name starts with that letter into their respective letter category. So if you didn't want a whole bunch of top-level categories titled by just one letter, you'd create a top-level category called "Artists" then subcategories with each letter. Then group products accordingly. |
