Due to the nature of the store we are setting up, we do not need the customer to click on the product to get more details. Everthing they need to know can be found in the SKU and the short description pulled from the "descr" field.

I'd like to disable the ability to click on the product to get more details (since there won't be any). This will help with HTML catalog generation also since we will not need to generate pages for the details. There will be 100,000+ products in the store.

If you are using a single column layout for your products, edit products.tpl and remove the links to the product detail.

If you are using a multi-column product layout, edit products_t.tpl and do the same.
