![]() Hi to all, this is my first post here.
I want to make a 2-columns products view, but with the products.tpl layout (the one that is shown when you are not using multicolumn mode) and not like the products_t.tpl (which is the template that is used in multicolumn modes). Has anyone achieved that? What would be the esiest/better way to get to that point? I'm thinking mainly about two possibilities: 1. to edit products.tpl so it can display its content in two columns or 2. to edit products_t.tpl until it fit the layout normaly used when not using multicolumns (thumbnail to the left, and short description and other info on the right of each product) Thanks.

![]() I haven't done it myself, but I feel like editing the products_t.tpl because you would just have to move some of the items around (float the thumb to the left and then the details on the right) whereas if you edit products.tpl you would have to change the way it works fundamentally. Plus if you edit products_t.tpl it still integrates with the settings and if you decide to go with more columns in the future it would be easy to adjust that without diving back into the code.
Just my opinion though. PhiLL

![]() I finally chosen a different layout. But i think western-merc was right.
It shouldn't be very hard to get that result editing the products_t.tpl
