![]() .TPL files:
how come my tag properties in Dreamweaver dont show? added .tpl in /configuration/MMDocumentTypes.xml under HTML and in Extensions.txt at least I can load .tpl files and see some code tag colors BUT I read people here can actually do WYSIWYG ! How? i can only do that if temporarily save to .htm AND add <body> tag which is quite a drag and messes up you directories with htm files. also adding .. documenttype id="SmartyTPL" internaltype="HTML" .. in MMDocumentTypes.xml didnt do anything. using dreamweaver MX 6 (part of studio) Anyone THX mt ![]() ![]() |

![]() i have two ways around that problem.
If you still have dreamweaver 4 you can use it for your tpl's. it gives WYSIWYG. (make sure dreamweaver doesn't rewrite tpl in preferences) somehow this got lost in MX or i never found it, but what i do now is just copy the tpl in CODE-VIEW then create a new htm-file delete all in CODE-VIEW and paste the tpl-content. now you have WYSIWYG untill you save the file that is! Writing this down it looks like a lot of work but it realy isn't. hope to be of help Cheers Eddie |
