![]() For the first time today I had a look at my cart using a 15inch monitor on 800x600 resolution and was horrified to find the wrapping looks really bad on the default product detail template. The detailed description is squashed into a thin column down the centre which looks bad and is difficult to read. Obviously I can start hacking away at product.tpl but was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to post one of their templates that solves this problem -I'm a bit wary of excessive template surgery and don't want to reinvent the wheel if I can help it!
Thanks Dan

![]() Can you post the URL to the page where it can be viewed?
It's possible just that your thumbnail image is too large but can't say for sure without viewing the page itself. |

![]() Thanks, I know the size of the thumbnail can affect it, but even on products with long descriptions and the standard size picture, it still give a column down the left and right hand side (the "save" graphic) which looks awkward on some smaller monitors -I'm talking about the product details here BTW. I also had a look at some of the showcase sites listed on X-Cart.com that seem to use the default template, and they also look a bit odd, depending on how long the description is! My thinking is to have:
_____________ Title _____________ Picture _____________ Description _____________ Detailed Images _____________ Recommends _____________ Customer Rating I guess it's a case of removing the picture and the "save" graphic column -it seems to be a bit more complex than I thought looking at the template! Thanks Dan
