Default template recreation
Hi,

I am running a custom version of 3.4.0.

In an attempt to get may admin function pages to load other than as blanks, I deleted the templates_c folder, recreated it and gave it 777 permissions.

Now I have NOTHING appearing in my store or admin side. templates_c is empty.

How can I get the cart to rebuild the templates. (a function I understood to be automatic?)

HELP!!!

Have you tried rerunning your install (you need the auth code) and just be sure to turn off uploading the databases and it should reload the default templates for you.

Thanks for the suggestion, but if I have to resort to any kind of install, it will be to upgrade to a newer version of the cart.

If I have to re-edit all that stuff!!! It will be for a cart that they are at least doing security patches for when necessary. The latest patch misses my version.
