X5 Classes & Attributes
HI Guy's
After some advice I am setting up classes and attributes for specific items but seem to find it a little confusing. I can setup a set apply it to a selection of items fine but.......... How to I set the pricing changes to the entire group when setting the attributes up. I seem to have to go into an assigned item and add the price changes there. If I modify the attribute group it only applies changes to items added after the change and does not propagate them to all the items that have this group assigned example item of clothing has 3 material options option 1 = default cost Option 2 = +ё8.00 option 3 = +ё12.00 I want to add a 4th option to the entire group for ё15.00 I can go into the item and add the modifiers but cant do it when setting up the attribute and classes Thanks |

Re: X5 Classes & Attributes
also apply changes globally from one of the products either blank screens or throws random errors
like this one ERROR: "0" (code N/A) A new entity was found through the relationship 'XLite\Model\AttributeValue\AttributeValueSelect#p roduct' that was not configured to cascade persist operations for entity: XLite\Model\Product@000000002ac3d1610000000037bfd6 37. To solve this issue: Either explicitly call EntityManager#persist() on this unknown entity or configure cascade persist this association in the mapping for example @ManyToOne(..,cascade={"persist"}). If you cannot find out which entity causes the problem implement 'XLite\Model\Product#__toString()' to get a clue. |

Re: X5 Classes & Attributes
Hi!
You should use the "Apply changes globaly" option when submitting the changes to get the modifications rolled over to other products having the attribute. Quote:
Do you set attributes up on the Catalog -> Attributes and classes page?

Re: X5 Classes & Attributes
It looks like that this problem is related to this one: http://forum.x-cart.com/showthread.php?t=69067
First, we will solve that one and if after that applying attribute values globally will still fail, we will get back to it. |
