I am trying to get a new store up and running, I am looking to purchase one of the skins directly from X-Cart. I see some of them as cheap as $20.

Do I need to purchase the installation service or is this something I can do myself? Does it come with installation instructions?

I think I'm pretty savvy and I've modified some X-Cart stores in the past.

The $20 templates are just psd files. You have to dice them ne slice them and implement in order to become an XC skin. You can either purchase installation with them, do it yourself or hire someone to do it for you
