I would like to have a horizontal scroll bar on our web site.

I am currently working on a test site and all product information is not showing when
a browser is down sized and find it is not possible to scroll across to see all of the product information.

Which file or files control the scroll bars?

There isn't a specific file to control the scroll bar, what you are describing depends on CSS. What you need to do is investigate the CSS elements that are controlling the width of the page. If you provide a link to the behavior that you want to correct, I will be able to help further.

I am unfortunately unable to provide a link as this is a test site I am running on a local hard drive using xammp.

When looking at main.css it shows the width as body min-width 780px

I will look at the main.css and the altskin.css elements.
