If you already have a Fedex meter number for production, then the 4.4 version of the module will work for you. The issue is with Fedex are no longer giving out new meter numbers for the old API, so for if you don't have a meter number this module will not be usable. We are close to releasing a new Fedex labels module based on the new API.

We are releasing a new Fedex Labels module that supports the new Fedex Web Services API.
This is in RC1 status, and will be in production asap. Will be updating this thread when for sale.

We're awaiting an update to the RubyMods Fedex label/rate mod too. With Fedex's legacy system being cut off in 14 days, we're cutting it pretty close.

Fedex are retiring their old API on May 31, 2012.

We have a release candidate for a new Fedex Labels module that supports the new API, which is scheduled for release April 30th. This module will be compatible with X-Cart 4.3.0 or higher.
Note that we will not be releasing a Fedex rates module as X-Cart is now providing that functionality in the stock x-cart.

Any way to get an update for 4.2.3? Upgrading to the entire cart to 4.3.0, and then upgrading this mod and any other ones for 4.3.0 will be a rather large undertaking.
