I'm embarrassed to say I've spent the last couple hours trying to understand how to change the light & lucid text color (needs to be a bit darker). I'm using Firebug to inspect the text on the main home page and it reports the text's color code value. I thought the color code information, along with webmaster mode, would help me understand how to change the text color. But I'm officially lost.

For example, on my site's main description text, Firebug says its inherited from body.uo-container. I have no idea what that is. And the CSS style it points to is in the var/cache directory, and that does not appear (to me) to be a valid place to edit.

Long story short, I'm here with my hat in hand hoping to find a bit of guidance.

While debugging CSS and/or javascript, make sure you disable the "Use speed-up tools" in general settings, then you can see the uncached css files using Firefox + Firebug. These tools will tell you exactly what css is being applied to the page. When you are done debugging, you can turn the speed up tools back on.
