I was wondering about the following skin total re-design issue:

If we want to do a total skin re-design, starting from an included x-cart skin (the default or from the alt skins), which are all the template & css files needed to consider for editing? Are those, all the files listed in the X-Cart online manual, in the Overview of Templates section?

Whichever files are needed to implement the design. All depends on the design and how you are going to implement it. There is no specific set of files

Hi Steve, I know, but in the majority of the skin re-design projects, do all these template and style files listed in the Qualiteam page above, cover all the sections of the X-Cart front-end? (in the case the new design requires re-design of all the sections of the x-cart front-end).

They may / may not as there are a lot more template files. Again - it all depends on the design. If the design is 2 columns site then you don't need the right column template and even if you change it or copy it to the new skin it won't matter.
