Is it possible to remove the tables tags from simple_products list?

I have tried editing simple_products_list.tpl but each time I do the only product some is the first one.

I would also like to add a class to the dialog class surrounding it (much like the send2friend-dialog class) ≈ where can I add this?

You can modify the layout or design of templates any way you want. Make sure you are modifying the correct template (for the skin you are using)and you may need to clear the cache to see changes (cleanup.php)

I can see the changes so it can't be the cache and therefore it be the correct template.

The problem is all I am doing is removing the table tags and it is breaking the output content!

For example, I know there should be 2 items in the list as there is before I alter the page (or restore the original one). However, I remove all the table tags only one product is output (checking the source of the page confirms this). Am I missing something?

If you remove only <table> <tr> <td> ... it should work. If it doesn't you are doing something wrong
