Hi,

I'm using the Lucid 2 column template and want each product to be displayed with an image and description so I have added image (works just fine) entered a short description and a long description but the short one isn't being displayed. If I click on the product I get the long one OK. Is there something I should have ticked etc for this to happen ?

No, they do show by default. Have you edited template sin any way?
And list your cart version in your signature, hard for anyone to help without knowing the version

Thanks for the reply. I am using the Lucid 2 column and have set it to display 2 products per line. This seems to be the problem, the short description shows if I have one product per line but not for two. is there any way around this ?

Do you mean thumbnails view? Description shows in list view (1 item per line) only. This is how the stock version works. If you want it to show in thumbnail view (more then one product per line) the appropriate template has to be modified and description included in there. That would most likely be products_t.tpl and you can use

{$product.descr}

to show description
