X-Payments needs an update. v1.0.2 is from October 2010. Meanwhile I saw many issues in bugtracker (some of them not updated). Is any v1.0.3 planned for X-Cart users?

Agree with the above. But still - congrats QT, finally XPayments is listed. Now it's time to make it bug free, smooth installation and user friendly

I hate to say it Steve, but if they make any changes to the code, wont they have to have it re-certified?

Even if it did work correctly (which it doesn't) it adds a step to the checkout and will never be an acceptable compliance solution.

yes, adding new features to X-Payments means having it re-certified so we have to be very careful about adding new features to X-Payments.

The PCI Council do not list not working solution.
Perhaps X-Payments doesn't do what you need (PHP 5.2 compatibility, out of the box integrations with old X-Cart versions, less steps in checkout), but it does work and meets PA-DSS requirements in understanding of the PCI Council and our QSA.

Do you think this PCI Council is necessary? Or is just a crap for making money? In my humble opinion is a way to make more money from a solid source.

After all VISA and the PCI Council set credit card payment processing requirements for banks and merchant account providers. They control the industry and we have to follow those requirements.
