cat links not working in https

Default cat links not working in https
When you get to checkout the cat links don't work THey go to their secure server.
any suggestions?

Do you have the "Redirect customers from HTTPS to HTTP" option selected in General settings --> Security?

Do not redirect customers from HTTPS to HTTP

not checked.

works with out clean urls enabled.
