I'm happy to report that a new update has been applied to QuickOrder - this makes it officially 1.3, and can be downloaded right now from the website.

Some highlights (mainly bug fixes):

1. Completely compatible with X-Cart 4.3
2. Problems with variants and product options have been resolved. You can now add a product multiple times to the cart (with different options).
3. Various other bugs that have surfaced in the last few months have been squashed.
4. Completely revamped installation - now when you download, you get three folders - one for X-Cart 4.1, one for X-Cart 4.2 and one for X-Cart 4.3 - each copy of QuickOrder and each installation script tailored for each X-Cart version.
5. Improved documentation - each folder (X-Cart 4.1, X-Cart 4.2 and X-Cart 4.3) now gets its own HTML 'Getting Started' file - with complete instructions on how to:
i. Upgrade from QuickOrder v1.2
ii. Install from fresh using the installation script.
iii. Manually install QuickOrder if you don't want to use the installation script.

QuickOrder v1.3 is available now, and is free (of course!) to all previous customers. Just use the download link that came with your introductory email or use the form at the bottom of the website to retrieve it.

Hi John -

I have a feature request.
This feature would do in quickorder something similar to this mod does in the regular XCART.

The problem is that some products require users to select options, and frequently, customers proceed to checkout without properly having selected the options.

Maybe the quickorder javascript could look for "Please Select" as the first word in the first option. If that is the case, it would not allow the user to proceed unless they have selected an option?

I have bought 2 licenses of this as I think it has great potential but seems to be a little buggy.

One of my installs just wont show the categories in the left hand side and I have been trying everything to fix it. No response from contacting Elegant sucks too.

My other install works pretty well but sometimes you click on a category and nothing happens until you refresh the page.

I am hoping posting on here actions some kind of response...

Hi to all,

Unfortunately I've dropped the ball when it comes to customer support requests in the last few weeks. With custom mods and technical challenges relating to optmizing QO for X-Cart 4.4, there hasn't been as much time as I would have liked to replying to emails from customers.

I just want to reassure everyone that if they sent an email to EXM, they will get a reply in the next 48 hours, now that the majority of the work with QO on 4.4 is finished.

When can we expect Quick Order to work with X-cart version 4.4 ?

I purchased module and i tried to send 4 emails and no reply for the past 10 days.

There are no contact details on the web, no phone, no location.

I do not feel comfortable recommending this module due to customer support although John mentioned in the previous post that he will stay on the top of the module suppot.

I bought 2 licences for it, it's a bit buggy across browsers and the support is pretty much non-existant, neither of mine have gone live. It's a real shame cause it is such a great mod, if it requires more resources he should charge more for it... it;s worth it. I really hope he gets it together cause I wanna use it! Maybe sell it to websiteCM to take over.

Looks like no support at all. I am planning to request a refund since module is not working with 4.4 model.

Is anyone aware of other modules that performs similar functionality ?

What I am trying to accomplish is to let buyer quickly select multiple flavors of syrup and add them to the cart.
