try the firebug plugin for firefox, it will help you with things like this, it will show you how long each element takes to load,

Thanks for that, I'm currently using it and trying to learn all the timings.

I seem to have a errant dingbat file which is not playing nicely so I will comment it out and see if that fixes it.

Is it normal to have a lot of 301/302 moved GET images?
