I've only uploaded one photo so far, but I note that both it and the thumbnail have a box generated around them. How do I keep this from happening/displaying, please?

That did take care of the product detail page box. Can you (or anyone) tell me how to remove it from the thumbnail image?

I don't know why karen but when I clicked your link webmaster mode popup box [debugging console] displayed and it had your site details in the address bar.
