![]() I just inherited a site where to previous designer created a static home page above the xcart directory with hard coded links to the major categories on the cart. Now the client wants the category list to be dynamic so edits to the cart categories display on this home page. Is it possible to add code to this page to display the category list from the cart?
Any suggestions on how to go about this would be very appreciated!

![]() Actually your best bet is going to be to move X-Cart to the root directory, much better for SEO anyway. Then you can use the X-Cart main page as your home page. If they want a 'Splash' page, you could use {if} statements to hide certain elements on just the home page if you want.

![]() That makes a lot of sense. The current home page is littered with include files. Thanks for the quick reply.
