I have a customer that needs just a module that will give them the ability to say "Buy A and B together and save XXX"

That is all they need, nothing else. Looking for the lightest module out there.

The onsale module I wouldn't consider light though. We sell it for Altered cart, use it and do like it though. But the edits to X-cart are pretty extensive. With the features it has, it's just not possible to not be heavy for that mod though.
