Default Horizontal Dropdown Category Menu
I am setting up a new store and the customer wants horizontal dropdown category menus. I was going to use this one

but says not recommended for stores with hundreds of cats. The store only has 10 top level cats but tons of subs.

Any recommendations?

Is fancy cats ok for 4.2?

WOW Ash your going to "sue" Xcartmods?

Seriously, take a look around and find a store that uses drop downs with many sub categories. Find one that doesn't look very good and use that to steer them away from it. Take a look at Rockler.com for some ideas.
