I have managed to increase the height of the header are without too much trouble. I have a problem though. I cannot find which css controls the top position of the 'main content' area and have the auth box area overlapping the main content.

I'm using Fashion Mosaic

I have removed most of the code from the header for simplicities sake. Well at least for my easily confused mind.

Any pointers in the right direction would be appreciated.

altskin.css find #content-container and change the top margin to 283px (or whatever else you think works for you). Also check the FLC - it has its own css and classes so you may have to modify something there as well

Thankyou. Solved.

Odd thing is I changed this last night while very tired. I'm guessing I uploaded the altskin.css to wrong directory or something. Thankyou again.
