Hi there,

if you check out my site at www.idressforless.com at the bottom right hand corner you see a Contact Us Logo.

Where is this located, I would like to replace it with site seal logo.

Since you have a custom template you'll need to ask your developer for help - or use Webmaster Mode to help you determine which template is which.

I suppose this is a index.html in your xcart root

Nope, I was wrong... it takes two more clicks for me to find what are you talking about.
So another attempt to guess: It may place directly in customer/home.tpl
