I would like to display the image plus the price and description in bestsellers column on the left .
How can I achieve this ?
If I am using x-cart bestsellers mod I can either show product description on the left side or thumbnails plus description above featured/related products.

If you look in skin1/modules/bestsellers you will find there are two bestsellers templates. Compare the two and add the features you want from bestsellers.tpl to menu_bestsellers.tpl.

For X-cart 4.1.11 in admin area you can use next option for products thumbnails.
"Show thumbnails in bestsellers list (This option can be used only when the option 'Show bestsellers list in the menu column' is disabled):"
