Hey everybody,

I'd like to be able to call on an extra field from bestsellers.tpl. The idea is that in addition to the product image, name and price I could also create a short five-six word description or tag line that could be drawn from an extra field and used under the product name.

Has anyone investigated this before?

I imagine you could include the short description of the product, and probably even truncate it. Check your products.tpl for the procedure used to include the short description. That way you do not need an extra field.

Thanks JWait. While that would be easy enough to do, it would dictate the text, and due to space constraints that isn't the ideal solution for my situation. I'm actually looking to insert short five to six word taglines underneath the product name.
