![]() Hello,
Is there a way to add multiple SKU numbers to the same product page instead of making 3 separate product pages? I noticed under the Product detail section there is only one SKU text field box. For example: I have a book product labeled as "Connections in the Workplace". There are 3 different product items under the same name. A Student's book A Teacher's book and a package of one teacher's book with 5 student's books. Right now the book is labeled as CONST-101. I would like to list each item as CONST-101 CONTE-102 CONPGE-103 When I did a invoice test of ordering the 3 items, they all had the same SKU number as CONST-101 because only one SKU field box is available. As the 3 items are priced differently, I don't want to confuse the customers with the same SKU number. I have other products that will need multiple SKU numbers as mentioned above, any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks, Wolf

![]() If you use Product Options and Variants - with the Variants, you can give each option a different sku.

![]() Hey Paul,
Thank you, definitely helps. The only thing that was confusion was the added 1 after the 101 in the Variants section under SKU tab. Example: CONST-1001 (Should be CONST-100) CONTE-1021 (Should be CONTE-102) I guess because made a clone of the original product to place in another category. I guess you need to have a unique name, correct? Is there a way around this, so I can have the same SKU ID for the same product under 2 different categories? Thanks again, wolf

![]() Hi Zam_wolf,
Couple of things:- a) SKU number In theory you can export product variants (Admin -> import / export) and then change the SKU number in MS Excel, to exactly what you want (yes, they must be unique and can not be repeated) save it and then csv import it back into x-cart. So you do not have to use the x-cart default SKUs (in theory this works - it used to ![]() b) Same SKU in two categories The only option is to have the same "group of variants" i.e. same product (plus same variants) appearing in an additional category(s) - to do this open a product and choose from the drop down box what additional category or additional categories you want it to appear in (use <cnrl> key to select more than on additional category). With the way standard X-Cart works you can not have just ONE of the product variants only, for a product, show up in an additional category e.g. - this is possible Category A - SKU 123-1 student, SKU 123-2 teacher Category D - SKU 123-1 student, SKU 123-2 teacher - this is not possible Category A - SKU 123-1 student, SKU 123-2 teacher Category D - SKU 123-2 teacher - this is also not possible Category A - SKU 123-1 student, SKU 123-2 teacher Category D - SKU 123-2 teacher, SKU 128-1 student Hope comments help - cheers, Asiaplay
