I've searched everywhere and have not found the template that I edit the top of the main categories? For example here are the URLs:

home.php?cat=1
home.php?cat=2
home.php?cat=3
home.php?cat=4

The middle section of those pages has a space at the top that I want to remove and make sure it lines up with the rest of the pages. What template do I edit for the main categories? TIA.

Here's a tip:

Open up your site in webmaster mode - it will tell you exactly which template is which

OK, looks like this is the template:

/customer/home_main.tpl

That calls many other templates. Any way to determine which one has the code I need changing? I know what to look for but see no way to search within templates?

I'm looking for a <p /> tag right after this:

It isn't home_main.tpl - that is just the container. Need to go further in, you'll see the surround box get smaller around your category menu. Probably customer/categories.tpl

I've gone as far in as it will let me and found these templates:

customer/home_main.tpl
customer/main/subcategories.tpl
dialog.tpl

I've gone through all three of these to no avail. Any other ideas?

Everything lines up correctly, just "Categories" is off.
