I am currently in development for this site.

My client has requested a couple of layout changes, and I am a bit stumped

1. Turn off featured products on the home page - ie completely remove this section from view.

2. Information/Help Menu - wants to create a new menu in the right hand orange column and have links to pages (including static pages) in a specific order. So in effect there will be the Information/Help menu on the left with About Us, Conditions of Hire, FAQs, Photo Gallery, Resources and Contact us. On the right will be a menu with Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

3. Remove x-cart from the footer, and add specific links into this section.

I need to submit this site to the client on Monday (Australian time) for review.

If anyone can help me with these changes, it would be greatly appreciated.

you can do it at welcome.tpl file

To remove the Featured Product from the home page open /skin1/customer/main/welcome.tpl and comment (or remove) the line:

{include file="customer/main/featured.tpl" f_products=$f_products}

For multiple menus with informational/static pages:

http://www.telafirma.com/store/product.php?productid=16137

To remove the X-Cart notice and replace with links, open /skin1/main/prnotice.tpl and edit that file to suite you...
