![]() XCart Newbie here...
I added a wide image as my logo which filles 2/3 of my header and now I'm trying to figure out how to stop my speedbar tabs from wrapping to 2-3 columns high when the page size is narrowed in my browser. I'm sure there's an easy way through CSS or modifying a template but haven't figured it out. I tried using whitespace: nowrap but either put it in the wrong place or that's the wrong idea. Thanks in advance for any suggestions... |

![]() Well, is the logo too big to fit the speedbar? If so, you should consider making the logo the background for the header so the speedbar is too long it won't wrap.

I replaced the x-cart logo with my header image which is fine. It isn't in the speedbar at all. However if the browser is too narrow, the speedbar tabs will wrap around. So I want to know if I can set the speedbar itself to not wrap or if there's some other way to prevent that from happening. |

![]() You'd need to recode the header so that the speedbar isn't forced into a table cell.

Thanks... I was hoping for something a little more step-by-step... Or maybe an easy way to have the store resize to a min of X pixels after which the horizontal scrollbar appears... I can try to monkey with it but if it's not too complicated and someone can help with coding the advice is appreciated. |

![]() Ok, I really can't give you a step by step as I don't use the Speedbar. Essentially the header is made up of table cells. The speedbar is build with graphics, so you can't resize it, you need to make the table cell that contains the speedbar large enough to contain it. So in the header, the easiest solution is to make the logo a background image and let the speedbar span the whole header cell.

![]() OK, thanks for your help. Based on that I think the problem is that since I replaced the logo with a wide header graphic it's bumping the speedbar cell size to be too small when the window is resized. That makes sense.

![]() Correct.
