In the Grey box along the top just under the banner i want to make a basic menu in there and move the Search box to the right corner

Im not to good at websites so was wondering if anyone can please help

Have a look at /skin/head.tpl the layout for the gray box is in there

xcesiv, you are really going to need to learn Smarty/HTML/CSS in order to effectively work on the X-Cart template system.
