I want to be able to have our products in additional (hidden) categories, for which customers can then search by (eg. They can search products in the following fragrance categories - Floral, Woody, Sweet). Preferably by drop down menu. Now i could easily alter the manufacturers module to do this, however i want to keep that functional also...

How hard is it to create another Manufacturers module (and naming it different of course)? Or is there an alternate way I can do this?

PS. I can create the drop down box query easily against the manufacturers category.

Bump! I simply want to clone the manufacturers feature
