featured products

Hi members,

can some one post a how to so i can add the featured products on another page within my site. I know it must be just code.

I am using Vb cpms and want to show some featured products within that part of the site.

I thought the guru may have posted a response as opposed to moving the post.

I would like to display either a random product from the xcart on the forum and or the featured products.

CTC, my job here is not to answer every post, but to moderate the forum. I answer them when I have time, and when I have the answer. I don't know VB, so I can't help you. I moved it because I thought you would get a better response here.

sorry to upset you balinor, it wasnt my intention.

i have worked out how to do it using a VB and using Vb Advanced as a side module.

If anyone wants it send me a PM as i am happy to share it with other members who use the product.

I'm not sure what you are asking for. There is a button you can use in admin when searching for a product that will generate html code that you can cut and paste into whatever page you want to that will link it to the product page, is that what you mean?

No basically i want to get the featured products on a non xcart page.

In Particlar my forum.

The other ones simply makes a html catalog in the admin section.
