Adding homepage link to categories menu

I would like to add a Homepage link to my categories menu as the first item in the list but can't figure out what code to add ?

can you use this code to add static page links to the categories menu?

if so, how?

just alter the href part of the link to the direct link to the static page and it will work just fine.

Wow...I sware I tried that and got an error but I tried it again and it took. Weird.
