Would like to add a button or question mark at end of each option name that would link to the current option selected and show a pop up with image and description of option. Assuming I will have to add some pages to xcart
What steps.codes, etc would I take to acccomplish this......Thanks

Not being funny, but this is a massive mod

Not only is it going to be showing the pop up box, but also interpretting the option and displaying something - at present there are no pictures in for product options and this would need to be covered to make it workeable.

Yes is probably extreme...but would it be possible to create a link that is displayed next to each options(outside option text area) or one link somewhere in the customer option page area that link to a html page created in xcart files or a folder created in or out of xcart?
If this can be done with simple html would like to know what page,tpl etc and how to implement...Thanks

firstly, you would need to use one of the extra fields in the product table to hold the html page

then amend the extra fields template so that this does not display in the standard format but shows the input information as a html pop-up link.

this would be modules/extra_fields/product.tpl
