Hello all!

I realy like X-cart. I've used OSC for a couple of years but now i'm setting up a new shop using X-Cart.

At this moment the shop is closed and you get a page called shop_closed.html
What I really like is a newsletter-subscribtion-box on that page, so people can subscribe for a newsletter that will be send when the shop opens.

The email adres should be placed in the database for future newsletter mailings.

Could somebody please help me on this, as I have searched the forum for hours but I could not find the proper codes

Tough to do, as the newsletter code is full of smarty tags which will not work on a static html page. You can find the code in news.tpl, you would need to re-write it without the smarty tags.
