Default product options from the product details page in catalog

Hi Everyone

We would like to be able to use some of the product option groups on the product listing pages instead of the detail pages. We are hoping to completely bypass the details page. Any ideas how to get those variables? Any help is much appreciated.

So is this not possible? We could rethink our approach but I saw a few other xcart sites that operated like this. Has anyone on this forum taken this approach?

I know that the QualiTeam has done this mod for at least one other customer before. The charge I believe was about two and a quarter, and installed in a week. No one has ever shared this mod on the forums that I've seen. If I run across anything I'll try to come back here and share.

Thanks for your reply, I think this would be a huge improvement to the cart. We are going to give the mod a shot and if we can figure it out we will definitely share. This may be something x-cart engineers should consider building in to future versions?
