Default Export to CSV - Generate HTML link

Hi there,

do you know or has anyone come across a way to export html links on to CSV file?

These are the criterials that another website needs for us to be able to have our products with them:

" need an export (csv) with: product ID, product category, product name, product url, price, availability.
For example:

162763;Digital cameras;Canon digital ixus 430;http://www.store.com/product.asp?id=162763;221;3 days"

I don't know how to actually generate the "link" out with the proper product ID without having to go one by one for each product we carry.

thanks

Yea, that would be nice for sure. Not possible by default, but I'm sure someone could custom code it for you.

Hi, I have also been looking into this for Yahoo, MSN and other sites.

I am thinking about modifying the froogle mod and maybe that will work.

Anyone think this is worth a crack?

Will let you know my findings.

Wouldn't you just export via CSV like you normally do and then have Excel extract what it needs and convert it to what you want.

Seeing as how the link is just made from the productid (or some other field inside your CSV) you can just concatenate strings together to create the URL.

Or the other option would be to clone the export to CSV and modify it to your needs. Shouldn't be all that hard seeing as how every element of the design is already implemented in different part of your website.

I would take a look at the froogle export since it should contain an URL.
