Stop thumnails linking to their product

Default Stop thumnails linking to their product
I know this sounds daft, but I want a number of categories (not all of them perhaps) to have a thumbnail that when clicked does NOT link to its respective product. I want the "details" lable to link still so customers can go see the details and also purchase.

Anyone know how I stop the thumbnail linking please?

Just remove the link from around the thumbnail code in whatever template you want this to occur. Use {if} statements if you want to show the link for certain categories.

Either products.tpl (if you are using a single column layout) or products_t.tpl if you are using multi-column.
