Is it safe to remove certain text information from the last page of the checkout?

Stuff like : email address, phone, fax, website, even the address maybe?

I guess what I'm asking is 'Does it have to be displayed to be passed onto the email order?' Can I safely remove that information or will it screw up the order?

And lastly - how would I go about doing this. Hahaha - ok that is a bit cheeky - how about what is the template or file I need to edit to play around with this?

It does not need to be displayed to be passed to the order information.

The file is skin1/customer/main/customer_details.tpl
