I am trying to move my speed bar to the same line as the search bar. I am using the standard xCart layout. I can understand hows it done but just cant get it right. I basically want the speed bar as normal text at the opersite end to the search. Can anyone help please. Many thanks James

![]() There are a few files involved in the speedbar - your post doesn't really explain how far you have got with it. Presuming you have moved it to where you want, then if you just want text, you are going to want to lose the big tabs. You need to look at the skin1/customer/tab.tpl template perhaps.
If you use Webmaster mode, you will easily see which templates are being used and then know which one to edit.

![]() Would it be possible to edit the search file and just add a command to display the speed bar on the same line but to the right side of the page. If this is possible can you give me some indiction to how the code should be. I have at some point managed to get the speed bar UNDER the search bar but not on the same line.
Thanks

![]() Well there are 3 parts to it - one is the include that calls the speed bar - you seem OK with this, if you can move it somewhere else you are on the way.
The next part, is to put it where you want. This involves editing the tables. This depends on your html skills and how well you know tables. If you can open the file up in a program that shows you the layout it will be much easier. You basically need to edit the table so that the speed bar is in a cell on the same row as the search bar. The final part, once you have it where you want is to make it look like you need, as per my last post.
