![]() Hello,
Can someone please help me figure out why this isn't working? https://devs.x-cart.com/design_changes/creating_sidebar_menu_in_customer_area.html Although I'm running 5.3.2.13 (this was written for 5.2.x), I managed to be able to create a module. I see it in the list of modules, although every time I try to activate it, re-deploy store again and is still disabled. Just trying to figure out how to add a sidebar to my site lol... I'm using the Standard theme and did create a body.tpl file as that documentation suggests. Any help would be appreciated, thanks. |

![]() 5.3 uses Twig as the template engine, so older templates (.tpl files) have to be converted to Twig (.twig files).
Please check this article on converting 5.2 module to 5.3: https://devs.x-cart.com/migration_guides/updating_modules_from_5.2_to_5.3_branch.html

![]() Thanks, this is still a bit confusing. Can you guys update the developer docs to support 5.3? Trying to learn this but very new to Twig and this template engine.
