Dropdown Menus and SEO
Hello all,
With menus we see on x cart 5, they are the "dropmenus" at the top of the navigation, eg with crisp white skin, or fashion house theme. I was initially planning to use this and have no left or right sidebar navigation in the entire site. If these are enabled, I think they only appear on the category pages, and not on home page or product pages. These sidebar menus also have their own drop down appearance, ie only the subcategories of the active category being viewed, are visible... So my questions are: 1. From what I can gather the top menus are html, and not javascript menus, correct? 2. So are they friendly for SEO purposes? 3. If not, are the left or right navigation any better? Thanks for any ideas here.
