error "Sorry, there seems to be a problem with the site. Please, try again later."
I am getting very stupid error on x-cart5.2.6
on home page like "Oops! Sorry, there seems to be a problem with the site. Please, try again later." even after restoring Db and all the page! Does anyone has same problem? or if any one can suggest solution? |

First step is to sort out where the message is coming from - is that generated by X-Cart or your web browser. From a quick search of the X-Cart source and database I think that is probably a browser generated error message which means you need to make sure this isn't a local issue (i.e. network, DNS problem, etc.). Can you load static files from your site? Is the problem an endless redirect issue? Try a different web browser or do a telnet to port 80 and manual HTTP request to see what is actually being sent.

Also please check the [xc5]/var/log/ directory. You will likely find a clue by looking into log files in this directory.

here is the report which i got from webmaster kit Execution time65.4018 sec.Memory usage (peak)94.157 MbSQL queries count83 unique / 30040 totalSQL queries duration21.2768 sec.Included files count1167Included files total size6856.597 Kb.Database connect time0.0000 sec.Doctrine UnitOfWork final size2134 models can any body tell me how to reduce the time... i have done everything that x-cart suggested in their manual like aggregated CSS & JS etc.. in performance tab |

Do you see any errors in the logs? It may be either a bug that causes the problem, or a low-performance hosting plan.
If the later is the case I would recommend you to change the hosting provider and switch, for example, to ours Or to a company from the recommended list.
