error "Sorry, there seems to be a problem with the site. Please, try again later."

Unhappy error "Sorry, there seems to be a problem with the site. Please, try again later."

I am getting very stupid error on x-cart5.2.6
on home page like
"Oops!
Sorry, there seems to be a problem with the site. Please, try again later."

even after restoring Db and all the page!

Does anyone has same problem? or if any one can suggest solution?

First step is to sort out where the message is coming from - is that generated by X-Cart or your web browser. From a quick search of the X-Cart source and database I think that is probably a browser generated error message which means you need to make sure this isn't a local issue (i.e. network, DNS problem, etc.). Can you load static files from your site? Is the problem an endless redirect issue? Try a different web browser or do a telnet to port 80 and manual HTTP request to see what is actually being sent.

Also please check the [xc5]/var/log/ directory. You will likely find a clue by looking into log files in this directory.

here is the report which i got from webmaster kit

can any body tell me how to reduce the time... i have done everything that x-cart suggested in their manual like aggregated CSS & JS etc.. in performance tab

Do you see any errors in the logs? It may be either a bug that causes the problem, or a low-performance hosting plan.

If the later is the case I would recommend you to change the hosting provider and switch, for example, to ours Or to a company from the recommended list.
